Here's a song that came out this Sunday by one of my favorite rappers That Kid C-G. If you don't know him you probably have heard of his friend from high school Chiddy (the rapper in Chiddy Bang). The two of them created my favorite word (Swelly) when they were in high school. Now they both rap:

Rest In Peace Kurt Cobain

Just in case you're not aware today is the 17th aniversary of Kurt Cobain's death (but I think the universe was evened out cause it's also one of my friends C's birthday (Happy 18th in the unlikely event you follow this blog)). Based off of the songs I've posted already, it probably will come as a surprise to you that I'm a fan of Nirvana and The Foo Fighters (yea, believe it). So in honor of one of the greatest musicians to live in the late 20th century I'll post my favorite Nirvana song

Nobody's Perfect -- Pac Div

Everyonce in a while when I'm just chillin' at home I tend to just listen to the most random songs. One of my favorite which I found from my random searchings (and just to let you know, most of the songs that will be posted here will be from this grouping, I don't get out anywhere near enough) is Nobody's Perfect by Pac Div, a hip hop trio from California. They recently released their mixtape Mania! and one track features Casey Veggies (anyone who follows Odd Future knows who he is).

I really love the sample which is used on this track, if anyone finds out what this is let me know. Here you go:

First Post

Allright wassup people, this is my first post ever (XD)
Ok, this blog will be about music, but not about the newest stuff that's out there, I'm in high school right now as an IB student. If you don't understand what that mean I envy you, but in short it means I don't have the time or energy to go through that. I'm leaving that to the people at http://www.freshoncampus.com/; http://www.goodmusicallday.com/; and http://www.themaskedgorilla.com/. This site is simply for posting songs that I think people will enjoy listening to. If you have a song that you think should be here, comment or send the link to me. I'll try to post a song a day, and if I can't I'll post a bunch to hold you over. Just to let everyone know ahead of time, this blog will be mainly a hip-hop one (that's mostly what i listen to), but everyone in a while you'll get something else
